About your hosts

We are Jim & Pauline Craig -- now trying to make a life for ourselves over here in France after 33 years together in Scotland. Pauline was born in Edinburgh where she lived until she was 11 before moving to Ayr on the west coast. Jim was born and brought up in Kilmarnock. After running engineering businesses and renovating houses in the UK we have moved over to our new 'project' in Le Grand Pressigny only 8 km from our Barrou house. We are trying to have it available to rent in 2010 --where we will live then is another matter!!!

We came to this beautiful part of France after having visited it and other regions many times on holidays. We think we have made the right choice --lovely people ,countryside and weather. Everyday is an adventure!!

Our grand plan was not to have one! -Pauline's wisdom is 'that way it can't go wrong' --naive we know but we are sure it will all fall into place!
