It couldn't be better!, the house and
courtyard thoughtfully prepared for a pleasant stay, the beautiful setting
of Barrou village and your warm hospitality made our time here
unforgettable. The children were charmed by the house the first glance as
well and the collection of books went in line with their imagination of very
special places. All our trips were unique and full of French experiences
which will be with us a while. Thank you for a wonderful week and all
the best for the future.

Our family had a
wonderful holiday in the 'Old Walnut Mill'-Jim & Pauline have made a beautifully
organised home with fantastic reference material and more than comfortable
accommodation, We will always remember the fun we had learning and playing 'Petanque'
with you and your neighbour David. You are truly excellent hosts!

What an amazing place-I
had a very interesting and busy trip. I loved the house and the special touches
Jim & Pauline made that say 'WELCOME'....I hope to come back some day.

We have been very comfortable here but have not spent much time
in the house as we have had sunny, crisp fall weather-perfect for exploring this
interesting area....This is a great time to visit as few tourists, nothing
crowded,
Wonderful holiday!

The house was everything promised and more. Very
charming, reasonably priced, all our needs considered
and met. The little village and the river side park
area just across the way are very nice. It gave us a
chance for a pleasant walk at end of day.
I am a fussy sleeper and found the bedding and
mattress, and the general 'feel' of the bedroom to be more than
adequate and quite attractive. I especially liked the view of
the little courtyard from the upstairs windows.
We would recommend the Old Walnut Mill for anyone
travelling in that area and hope to return someday ourselves.
